Suspect in Transit stabbing arrested
The suspect wanted in association with a stabbing that took place in Federal Way was located and arrested early Thursday morning at the Federal Way Transit Center by two King County Metro Transit Police Deputies.

Mother of abandoned infant turns herself in
Update: At approximately 12:15 p.m. on Monday, September 29, a 22 year old white female turned herself into Federal Way Police Detectives. She identified herself as the mother of the newborn that was left at Steel Lake Presbyterian Church Sunday morning. She is a Federal Way resident. She fully cooperated with Police Detectives during questioning. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance.

Public invited to open house on City Center Access Project
The public is invited to the second open house on the City Center Access Project from 4 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 12, 2008, at the Macy's courtyard at The Commons at Federal Way, 1928 South Commons Way (near the I-5 interchange and south of S 320th Street).
