South King County Wedding Show--

Feb. 13, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Highline Community College's first wedding show features everything the happy couple needs to plan their special day. HCC main campus, building 8, 2400 S. 240th St. Vendors include local florists, photographers, musicians, DJ's, bakers and much more! Hors d'oeuvres will be provided. The semi-annual Recycling Event will be held Saturday, September 19 from 9am to 3pm at the Twin Lakes Park & Ride (21st Ave SW & SW 344th).

The City sponsors the event for residents to drop off a wide range of materials not typically collected at the curb such as appliances, oil, wood, batteries, tires, electronics, fluorescent tubes, holiday lights and rigid plastics. New this year - mattresses and Styrofoam blocks will be accepted.
