" I am a parent that witnessed the incident that occured. For anyone to say that intentions to harm others was not there is seriously not looking at the big picture here. How do you fire a shot in a parking lot where kids and parents are walking and driving and say there was no intention to harm anyone other then a certain person? I do not know the victim or his family but hearing the account of what happened as well as being there, I did not see the car circle and look for someone! I saw them there and LEAVING while the poor gentleman shot was coming to pick someone up. Again, I do not know either so maybe they knew each other but it did not seem to be that way. I am extremely irritated at anyone saying that it is NOT random. I think any violence that occurs at a venue that is there to keep kids out of trouble is RANDOM whether they knew each other or not. My kids were walking towards the scene about 100 feet away, what if he had missed and that bullet would have been flying in a parking lot with all those people? And as far as people attacking the lack of security from the organization, well I have been a proud hawks parent for 5 years and 2 kids and there was no way they could have forseen nor known that something could happen like that. How can anyone protect against the reckless and dangerous lifestyle of some people? How can anyone at all have prevented that? The answer is you can't and I do not hold them responsible in any way. "

He is a good man to step up to the plate and yes, he did not so good things in the past, but he stepped out of that life and into a loving one and a good one at that. Me being his big brother looked up to my little brother. WE LOVE YOU MAN.... I will always have a drink with you and to all of you that took the time to write. Thank you. "

" It makes me sick that we can't feel safe for our children anymore. We try to keep them in sports to keep them busy so they cant join these gangs and no matter what we do, they are still putting our children and families in harms way...grow up and get a life..I am a friend of this guy's family, and it makes my sick that his son and my nephew had to witness this tragedy..try to get an education instead of being gangbagers.. and killing innocent people..This makes me sick..They need to fry this piece of ****...and lock all these gangbangers away and trow away the key..They are like roaches in our neiborhoods...
