Kids throw items at car, causing damage

1. The victim of malicious mischief contacted Federal Way police via an online report indicating their vehicle had sustained damage. The incident took place around 1:40 p.m. on April 7. The report states that the driver of a gray 2007 Ford Edge was driving down 356th Street South when a group of unknown kids began throwing things at his vehicle. The report does not state how many suspects were involved or what they were throwing at the passing vehicle. The Ford Edge sustained damage to the right passenger fender and one of the right passenger door. The driver told police that he stopped in the 356th BPA trailhead parking lot and pursued the kids on foot. The kids escaped into the backyard and the victim chose not to pursue them further.
