Aaron Larson was shot to death by a Washington State Trooper after an altercation on the 320th Street exit off I-5 December 25. Larson was unarmed.

Soccer Devotees Withstand The Cold

While most of the area's wintry weather came in late fall, Federal Way experienced a brief bout with nasty weather during the first few weeks of the winter season. Scott Anthony captured this image of some dedicated soccer players braving the sleet and snow for a few wet minutes on the field.
