Beamer advances at district

Todd Beamer opened West Central District boys basketball tournament action by edging out Curtis, 56-52, in the Vikings' own gymnasium.

Napa Mefi sealed the deal for the Titans by sinking a three-point shot with only 3.2 seconds left on the game clock.

Kevin Davis of Beamer scored 24 points and hauled down 14 rebounds, also using his 6-foot, 7-inch body to blocks three shots. Tyrell Lewis added 12 points.
