Want to know more about living, working or playing in Federal Way? Check out 10 new videos highlighting various aspects of city life.

The videos, produced in partnership with New York-based CGI Communications, Inc., include a welcome from Mayor Jack Dovey as well as snippets on economic development, health, arts, entertainment, education and real estate.

A link to the videos is found on the City's Web site, www.cityoffederalway.com, but the videos themselves are housed on a private server. No taxpayer dollars were spent on the effort. The work was underwritten by sponsoring businesses in Federal Way, the United States Conference of Mayors and the Association of Washington Cities.

The videos will stay linked to the City's home page for three years. Through CGI's patented OneClickTM technology, an Internet user with any type of media player can easily access the videos and e-mail them directly to an individual or to a group of e-mail addresses.

Federal Way is one of several Washington cities working with CGI this year on video promotion. Local businesses may still sponsor the videos. Contact CGI Communications
